Terms of Service

These terms are between you and Rron Hyseni, who makes Day & Note (“we”). By using Day & Note you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. Day & Note is free while in alpha; if paid features come later, you’ll see the price before paying.
Your account
You must be at least 13 (16 in the EU) and use an email address you can access. Keep your password, passphrase and recovery code to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
Your content and passphrase
Your content belongs to you. You let us store and sync it in encrypted form only to run the service. Because it’s encrypted, we can’t read or review it, so you’re responsible for what you put in.
If you lose both your passphrase and your recovery code, your content can’t be recovered by anyone, including us.
Fair use
Don’t use Day & Note for anything illegal, try to access other people’s accounts or our systems, overload or attack the service, create accounts automatically, or resell it. The app, its name and logo stay ours; you may install and use it on your own devices. If you find a security problem, please email us instead of exploiting it.
Alpha, provided as is
Day & Note is in alpha. Features may change or break, the service may sometimes be unavailable, and the app updates itself. It’s provided “as is”, without warranties, as far as the law allows. Keep your own copies of anything important.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months, or €50 if you paid nothing. This doesn’t limit liability that can’t be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer where you live.
Ending your account
You can stop any time; email privacy@dayandnote.com to delete your account and its data. We may suspend accounts that seriously break these terms. If we ever shut down Day & Note, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kosovo. If you’re a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws where you live.
Changes and contact
If these terms change, we’ll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app for significant changes. Questions: privacy@dayandnote.com.
